BARROW & LITTLETON TWINNING ASSOCIATION ARE HOLDING A QUIZ NIGHT WITH CHEESE & WINE AT BARROW VILLAGE HALL ON FRIDAY 8TH NOVEMBER - ARRIVE AT 7PM FOR A 7.30PM START COST £12.50 PER PERSON TO INCLUDE: A WELCOME GLASS OF WINE OR SOFT DRINK A GOOD SELECTION OF CHEESE AND A FUN QUIZ BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS FOR THE REST OF THE EVENING OR MAKE A DONATION ON THE NIGHT FOR EXTRA WINE THE QUIZ WILL BE IN TEAMS OF 4 AND THERE WILL BE PRIZES FOR THE WINNING TEAM YOU DO NOT NEED TO LIVE IN BARROW OR LITTLETON TO ATTEND THIS EVENT - ALL ARE WELCOME! The film for 30th November is- The DISH The true story of a group of eccentric scientists who are responsible for manning a satellite dish inauspiciously located on a remote Australian sheep farm. Much to NASA's alarm, the unconventional Aussie team -- led by Cliff Buxton (Sam Neill) -- are the world's only hope for receiving the historic images of man's first steps on the moon. With help from the colourful cast of local characters, the crew struggles to overcome a series of mishaps.
